The Declaration of Peace and United for Peace and Justice invite your participation in the nonviolent actions that are being organized in Washington, D.C., and encourage the organizing of End-the-War events in your town during the 5th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Energy for the upcoming ‘5 Years Too Many’ actions around the country is building rapidly!
So far, more than 375 local events have been organized in nearly every state across the country, and have been posted on the 5YTM calendar. The number of event postings is increasing daily!
We encourage everyone to organize and participate in local actions to send a powerful message to the Bush Administration and Congress: It is time to end this war and occupation, NOW!

Focused on confronting the pillars of war and demonstrating the real costs of the U.S. occupation, numerous organizations and activists from across the country will take action in the U.S. Capital to call for Peace in Iraq.
