Gather at the corner of MLK Way and Center in MLK Park. Bring pink paper, streamers, signs, tape & sticks to decorate bikes and helmets.
Ride peacefully around Shattuck Square making the silent statement: Bicycles are what we value in Berkeley, not pro-war bikers.
The Marine Motorcycle Club, in all their pro-war regalia, is ascending to Berkeley once again in their attempt to stifle dissent and democracy!
They are trying to intimidate the good, peace-loving people of Berkeley, business owners, and City Council with their loud, violent threats and bully mentality.
We know what we want in Berkeley. We live here. We work here. We create our community here. And it is not now or never has been one that supports war. Or the recruiting of our youth to be the cannon fodder for that very war.
