Wednesday, September 27 - 26 Declaration of Peace activists were arrested after staging a die-in at the doors of Congress behind a row of coffins representing US and Iraqi dead. The day began with a brief program and a somber procession of the coffins to the Rayburn Building to urge Congress to cut funding for the war in Iraq.
