September 21st Vigil in Trumansburg, NY

25 people gathered in the small community of Trumansburg, N.Y., which is 10 miles north of Ithaca on Cayuga Lake. A small but formidable group from Trumansburg & surrounds held up signs protesting the Iraqi invasion, summed up beautifully in one of the posters which simply stated “ENOUGH”, as communters traveled home from work. This protest was follwed immediately by a circle of silence & then sharing. Frustrated & angry by the lack of elected officials response to the overwhelming number of Americans & Service people who want us out of Iraq, the committment was definitely there to keep on agitating until The Declaration of Peace is adopted & carried out.
