Endless war in Iraq — or a Comprehensive Plan for Peace ?
These are indeed DAYS of DECISION!
This week, General David Petraeus is expected to submit his report on the war.
Later this month, the U.S. Congress will decide about funding the U.S. occupation of Iraq for another year.
That’s why people across the country are planning local nonviolent actions from September 14th to 21st to call upon Congress to support a Comprehensive Peace Plan for Iraq. This plan includes an end to war funding, a clear plan for withdrawal, closure of bases, reconstruction, and support for an Iraqi-led peace process.
Please join us in Bloomington on Saturday in participating in the nation’s inaugural public presentation of the Comprehensive Peace Plan for Iraq.
U.S. Congressman Baron Hill had initially agreed to participate in this presentation and question & answer forum, but, wanted the meeting to be restricted to a closed-door meeting with BPAC members only.
Because: • Bloomington Community Access Television Services will be filming and broadcasting this important event, • and the general public are invited to participate, • and the media are encouraged to attend …

Therefore, everyone is encouraged to speak to Congressman Hill via our video-messaging that will be taking place following the Peace Plan presentation.
